Cyber UK is the UK Government’s annual flagship cyber security event, and at this year’s conference which was held last week, the theme was transforming resilience, countering threats. Richard Horne, CEO of the National Cyber Security Centre, said we must focus on “controlling the variables within our control and being prepared for those that are not”. At Shift Key Cyber we recognise the importance of being adaptive and providing solutions that enable organisations to access knowledge and expertise that is cost effective, so they can protect their customers data and assets and the business they have worked so hard to build.

As part of our mission to make security accessible to all, we believe there should be no barriers to organisations implementing security programs and building resilience. In our experience many businesses do not have the resource or the requirement for a full time senior or executive security role, so we offer subscription services that provide organisations access to industry expertise, tailored to their specific needs and requirements. This approach enables organisations to build their security capability with the assurance that they are in safe hands.

We have two services which can be tailored to meet the security and business requirements of any organisation. These are flexible, cost effective, and provide expertise when it is needed.

Our virtual Chief Information Security Officer service provides strategic information and cyber security leadership that aligns with business objectives. Some of the common activities available are:

  • Expert cyber strategy advice and business alignment
  • Governance and risk management oversight
  • Overview of the threat landscape, legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Independent overview of your cyber security maturity

Our Security Manager-as-a-Service provides operational security support to provide assurance and capability. Some of the common activities include:

  • Manage security programs and information security management systems
  • Implement and manage security requirements across the business.
  • Empower and build security capability within teams
