When we started Shift Key Cyber, it was because we wanted to make security accessible to everyone regardless of industry or budget. 3 years later that vision has not changed, in fact if anything it has got stronger.
We believe in delivering quality and value driven services that are built on professionalism, integrity, and trust. We focus on getting better every day and that is what drives us. But we also realise that collaborating to build stronger and more resilient communities is fundamental.
One of the areas both Founders live and breathe is community; how can we better serve our communities and how can we foster collaboration so that we can help as my people as possible build resilience and reduce risk to their business? We work with many bodies and organisations to help strengthen that ecosystem. One of many proud moments this year was becoming a East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre Cyber Essentials Trusted Partner. Their mission aligns with ours and we are grateful to be part of their network helping businesses. We also became a sponsor for The Cyber Scheme, working together to raise the professional standards of our industry.
We talk about cyber ecosystems all the time but for us it is also about building an ecosystem with a community that not only focuses on cyber security but also our own wellbeing, nature and protecting the wildlife that lives amongst it. We are committed to strengthening the interdependencies of our community so that they remain supported, strong and continue to flourish. We also decided very early on that where we work from matters. When we are not working from home, we work out of offices at Ransom Wood Business Park that are set in an environment that champions nature, allowing everything to interact naturally and effortlessly. We work alongside some great organisations and together we are building ways to better serve our local and wider communities. It is amazing what can be achieved with a group of people and a strong vision to improve their own resilience, the lives of others and the environment.
Part of our contribution to our community is giving to local charities whether that be time or donations. We do this all year round but every year for the month of December we focus on 3 charities that are important to us. It is 3 weeks of asking for nothing but interaction with our Christmas post and we will make sure our chosen charities get a donation to help them make lives a little easier over the festive period. Please look out for our post in December and all we ask is that you like or share the post, and we will do the rest. Thank you.
