We are looking to fill a number of security consultant roles in our small but growing boutique cyber security consultancy business. We provide a range of services to our customers across different business sectors and sizes.
We are looking for candidates that can tailor their professional experience and consultancy skills to provide the best security advice to our customers to help them become more secure.
As a key member of our consultancy team, you will provide expert advice and guidance based on your experience and will help our customers understand the cyber security landscape and systematically assess the risks, and design mitigations. We are a high-performing team and believe our customers deserve the very best.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to complete risk assessments and audits across a range of different environments and infrastructures.
- Lead or assist client engagements in scoping, reporting and debriefing of security assessments using frameworks and certifications including but not limited to ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials and the Cyber Assessment Framework.
- Conduct cyber maturity assessments using relevant frameworks.
- Contribute to and improve internal management systems.
Required Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of information assurance and cyber security principles.
- Experience of having undertaken threat and/or risk assessments.
- Ability to communicate and work closely with customers to understand their business challenges.
- A recognised audit qualification.
- Cyber Advisor and/or Cyber Essentials/ICA Assessor.
- Experience of working with different security frameworks.
- UK Cyber Security Council Professional registration status.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Information Security.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
